Victims of Crime counselling, mentoring, social work supervision
I'm April Crutcher, an Aboriginal Social Worker and the founder of Wiigul Mentoring Services. I established Wiigul with a passion for creating a culturally safe and welcoming space where adolescents and adults feel heard, respected and empowered. I believe healing happens through connection—to culture, community, identity and self—and I am honoured to walk alongside people as they navigate life's challenges. Wiigul Mentoring Services provides culturally responsive counselling, cultural mentoring and wellbeing support for adolescents and adults. I work with people experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, the impacts of violence and abuse, and significant life transitions. Cultural mentoring is woven throughout my practice, supporting clients to strengthen their cultural identity, reconnect with Country, explore language, history and traditions, and build resilience through culture. Whether someone is seeking counselling, mentoring or simply a safe place to yarn, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based support that honours each person's unique story and strengths.

Cultural training and sacred ecology experiences with Arlene Gili Mehan
Country led immersions provides cultural training where listening, storytelling, deep history, language, ecology, and anti-colonial action converge. These experiences are designed to encourage deep connections between Country, relationships, and the way we move through the world.
At the heart of these immersions is the aim to disrupt colonial perspectives that create separation, inviting participants to deeply reflect on their relationalities and translate this understanding into meaningful action or inaction.
